G’s International & Hedgerow

I introduced G’s International to my horses because I want to ensure that I am supporting their gut health for regularity and through all the travel that competition horses have to endure. After trying many other products, both off the shelf and prescribed by my veterinarian, I decided to try G’s International. Interestingly, I noticed far more positive and obvious changes than I had expected.

I started feeding Hedgerow simply for hormone support for my two mares, but I have seen such great results with their stress levels that I am going to start my gelding, Chief, on it too!

From the boys’ perspective:

Quinn is a big quiet Canadian warmblood who used to be spooky, was always bloated and was a really easy keeper. So much so that I had to really limit his forage and other feeds. After being on International for a few months, I have noticed that his bloating is gone, his weight and body condition are more correct for his size, and he is able to eat as much forage as the other horses with no weight problems.

Chief is a big hot Dutch Harness Horse and he has always been a bit of a stress-case. He was very hot under saddle and would sweat a ton. Now, he is much more level and isn’t sweating nearly as much.

From the girls’ perspective:

Ellie as a sensitive little mare who is fairly new to me. She arrived very bloated. So much so that she looked to be in foal. She was very spooky and distracted and was rarely forward under saddle. After putting her on G’s International she has totally leveled out. She is focused, comfortable, not spooky, her bloated belly is gone, she has a shiny coat and best of all - she seems happy!

Now for Frankie. She’s a big sensitive Thoroughbred cross, and there’s no nice way to say this... She was bitchy.

She was high stress, she would kick, she was reactive and she was generally unhappy. Now after a few months on G’s International & Hedgerow she is actually pleasant and no longer reactive! She seems far much more relaxed, she isn’t kicking and is easier to work with. She even stands quietly in the cross ties without her old antics of dancing around and leaving manure spread everywhere! 

It’s hard to say which product made the most difference for my mares as I started feeding G’s International and Hedgerow at the same time, but I think that a large part of these changes can be attributed to their improved gut health. By eliminating any GI discomfort and improving nutrient absorption with International, while also detoxifying their bodies and supporting their hormone balances with Hedgerow, I think I have found the perfect combination for my girls.

Since feeding it I have noticed:
